so. i'm a junior in high school...school sucks right now. i only have nine weeks left, though, so that's good.

i love journalism more than anything. i'm currently a staff writer for my school's paper, the mirador, and next year i'm going to have an editorial position, either as editor-in-chief, managing editor, or opinion editor.

i would do anything for that paper. it's like my life. although, i don't think i really come off as the "school paper" freak when you first meet me.

i want to be an e-i-c more than anything though.

i have a really tight-knit group of best friends. unlike lucy's crew, we do not have a name ;)

my very best friend, maddie, has been my best friend since seventh grade. we becam friends with best friends vivian and maria freshman year, and then katie 1, katie 2, and amanda showed up. we would totally do anything for eachother. we're all really different on the outside, but it's like we have a such a deep understanding of eachother, that it doesn't matter.

i've liked the same guy for a while, and we've had little "things" now and then, but it's going nowhere, although i just can't move on. you know how it is.

i don't have a date for prom.

i "do" art, but i never put it on the internet. sorry. i'm just too lazy. i think when i make my ap portfolio next year, i might start putting things on the internet for people to see because i have to take digital pictures anyway to make slides to send with my portfolio. i like painting with acrylics and certain forms of printmaking the most. right now we're learning how to make our own slik screens, which is awesome.

i'm an only child, my parents are divorced, i'm vegetarian, i have a cat, my favorite color is ultramarine blue, i used to have long hair, i can almost fluently speak french, i play guitar, i'm not allergic to anything, i sunburn easily, i can drive, and i'm a girl scout.
