First Entry in Germany!

Hi everyone =)

I'm having a good time. I'm visiting my aunt right now, but I won't say where in case some creeper is lurking this blog. Anyway, I watched to championship game of Euro 2008 in a bar with my family, but Germany lost to Spain. I don't really care that much, but a lot of people aren't going to be in a very good mood tomorrow.
Because of the good weather I went to a lake today, and yesterday I went hiking.

Last week I went to school for two days to meet my class. They seemed pretty nice. It was their last week of school, so it's not like I had to learn anything. It was just to get to know the people.

Supermarkets are exciting again! =D

Also, for some reason they play a lot of Backstreet Boys here. Okay, maybe not a lot, but more than I hear in California.

Random updates

Hey guys. What's new? (That's an actual question by the way, not just one of those annoying questions that people ask just to say something). How's Germany, Lena?

New things in my life? Hm. I'm getting my room painted on the 7th. I just spent about ten minutes on the paint company's webpage searching for the colour to show you guys, but I couldn't find it. As of now the walls are decorated in half ugly wallpaper, half the yellow underside of the wallpaper that refused o come off and bits and pieces of the white wall shinging through near the ceiling.

Also I received a MacBook last week and it is really nice. It is a bit weird adjusting to using a Mac, but I'll manage.

The Reduced Shakespeare Company is in town (well San Jose, but that's close enough), but I don't have enough money to go. It's okay though, I've heard the Great Works isn't their best anyways.

Anyone know of any good comedy troupes? I like laughing. I like good sketch comedy a lot.

I don't want to spoil Hunter's news and all, but... I'm willing to leak it to you guys, I guess... can you keep a secret?

I'm at the airport! Waiting for the flight. Then I wait at the other airport for five hours (!), and then I'm on my way to Deutschland for a million hours.

Oh my goodness. I just found the one cupcake of Nee-sa's that was left. I took two of them home with me and ate one... and then I put the other one in the plastic box under a pillow. I don't even remember why. Maybe I wanted to hide it from someone. I'm debating on whether I should eat it or not. It looks fine. But... I don't know. Thoughts?

So yeah. I leave Thursday; ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm pretty excited. I've made a million lists on what I'm taking, what I'm doing before I leave, etc. My one shelf is usually clean, but it's really messy right now because I decided that if I pick up a random thing that I want to take, I'll put it in there. Something that I think I'd forget.
This week has been kinda sad though, I said goodbye to so many people. And I miss you guys! =(

Tomorrow... er, today, is my sister's birthday. She will be... is... ten! Some of her friends are coming in the afternoon. I think I will flee my house for a while then.

I'm the worst poster ever. Sorry! I should attempt to post more often.

My trip to the glasses store

I just went down to the Site for Sore Eyes downtown to get a pair of prescription sunglasses. The ones I wanted were really expensive, but it turns out insurance covers half of it so I got them anyways. Yay!

Then the lady that was working was talking about how she needed someone to replace the lady who works on Sundays and I was like "I'll work" so I'm going down there tomorrow to talk to the lady who is leaving and seeing if it looks like it will work out. That'd be so sick if it does because I would be the only person working in the store so I wouldn't have to deal with bitchy coworkers. Knock on wood (nine times).

Then I got daily contacts for shows and the lady gave me a pair of free purple colour contacts.

Yay.
