Absolutely nothing

is going on in my life. I mean nothing. Rosh Hashana is tomorrow, which means I have to miss school. I don't mind missing high school, but anthro has proven itself to be a pretty cool class.

Haha Nee-sa! I don't have to do college apps!

Oh yeah! I got two chinchillas. They are the cutest little things I have ever seen.

heyloo

hey so i though i'd post.
Not much has been going on, just school.
Lets see, i went to see Rancid on friday, they were awesome as usual. I had to choose between horrorpops and rancid for that night but im glad i chose rancid.
Saw Tiger Army last week.

UMMMM. Last week we made cheescakes...and now im good with cheescake that i wont need to eat it for the rest of the year. But goddamn they were good.
Last weeks at school was just overall fun and chill. The culinary class had thier final and had a carnival theme so we took an hour out of class and went to gorge on carnival-like food.

I dont know what else to saaay! OH if any of you guys have IFC, watch the Henry Rollins show on tuesday at 6:15pm. They are rerunning the episode Placebo is performing.

yeah im boring. Lets hang. haha

A BULLDOG with LIPSTICK? Please...

So, I suppose this can be my NorCal-esque contribution to this blog for now? I also gotta say that school's been absolutely heavy. Anyways...

My classes are French 3, Advanced Treble Choir, Anatomy, Intro to Dance, World Civ., English 10 Honors, and Trigonometry. All of them could be considered okay and even great, but man, some of my teachers are just really not that great at their jobs. This weekend is my Retreat with the rest of ATC (the choir) where there will be much singing and practicing, but little if nothing to do with AFI or the DF (:()

Today, I got barked at by a pomeranian I swear weighed about 20 pounds... the thing was huge! And my drum lessons have been going well; I recently got offered a position in a band as their fill-in/semi-permanent drummer for now. I also recently learned how to PROPERLY make enchiladas... yum!

Anyways, how's everyone's week going thus far? Hopefully as good as mine.

Oh, and any news on the EP or the new album that's DF-exclusive?

P.S. I totally agree with what everyone's been saying about Palin... if she gets elected, America's probably going to hell in a handbasket. Man, sometimes I think California needs to be its own country!

i'm not sure what to put here...

hey dudes. so basically, i'm attributing my inactivity on this blog to the commencement of school.

but i saw lucy and sabrina at the force show a couple weeks ago! yay!

so, COLLEGE APPS. they SUCK. but i guess i'll get through it. i don't really want to talk about that because i'm going to get really worked up about it, but pretty much, it's at the point where i'm having dreams about getting into college.

this year i'm taking:
1: us gov/econ (a semester of gov and a semester of econ)
2: ap environmental science
3: ap calculus ab
4: journalism 3 (school paper)
5: english 4/wise (i'll explain below)
6: ap art 4

so wise is a nation-wide program, where you do a year's worth of english class in one semester, and then second semester, you do your wise project. i forget what "wise" actually stands for. but it's like an exploration/research project on a subject of your choosing. you keep a weekly journal, have a faculty advisor, and the bulk of your project is your "third space." (your first space is hime, second is school, and your third space is a place where you can practice or learn about your topic. this could be a job, internship, or class at community college. a lot of people do art-based projects, so their thrid space could incluse stidio time.) instead of attending five fifty-minute classes everyweek, you get the period off, and you make up that time in your third space.

anyway yeah, that's about it.

i'm going to l.a. at the end of october and i'm going to see the faint on november 8th.

A dead frog! I mean blog!

So school has started up again. How does everyone like their classes?

I'm taking History of Western Civilization, History of Art II, Chemistry 002, Government, English, and Anthropology. It's a pretty full schedule, but it keeps me busy and I like that.

The boys have decided that the fancy, expensive spinning exercise wheel I just bought them is only good for pooping on and hiding behind. Lovely.

So, Palin. I can't believe that is actually working. People are actually falling for her. No comprendo. I have a feeling I will lose a lot of faith in this country in the next fifty days.

So, blog. Tell me about your fascinating lives.
