i'm currently on the waiting list for a summer program at northwestern university, but the chances that they'll take me off are slim. they're only expecting one or two openings. last year they didn't get any.
so, i've moved on, and i'm applying to intern at the daily cal. if that doesn't work out, the contra costa times has a pretty lame teen writers section, but hey, it's something. if THAT doesn't work, there's a local-er paper i interned at in 2007, and they loved me there, so i know they'd take me back if i wanted to work for them again.
the process of writing cover letters, filling out applications, getting rec letters, putting together resumes...i'm so over it.
what's going to happen to me when i'm applying for college? i'm going to die, and then i'm going to have to go to dvc (community college ;) )
