Somewhere over the rainbow...

Hi everybody!

Hi Dr. Nick!

We just arrived in Ashland for Thanksgiving. We had to eat at The Blackbear Diner like always, and, like always, it was dreadful. The only vegetarian things on their menu are toast, a cup of under ripe melon, and pancakes that they stop serving after 10 am. The drive was traffic-free though, so I'm thankful for that.

Tonight I'll be having dinner with my aunt, uncle and cousin then hopefully going to see The Boy in the Striped Pajamas in the later night. I love it up here. I can't imagine living here, but visiting is so fun. There are lots of independent bookstores, coffee stores, and an old-style movie theatre. They also show plays in the spring and summer, but not now.

I saw a truck today with a NoBama bumper sticker. It made me smile because we won and he didn't.

There is nothing really left to say, but I'm really bored. Someone post entertaining videos.

I love Ashland! I remember most fondly the... god, what was it, Zoe's Cafe? or something along those lines... their sandwiches and ice cream I remember being divine :)

Zoey's Cafe? The one right across the street from the hotel?
