I guess I will write a quick blog since I'm on this page anyways. In late June one of my favorite Jacqueline Carey came by on book tour and a local publication had an interview scheduled with her for before the signing and they asked me to conduct it. Amazing. I only had about five minutes to prepare, but I think I asked pretty decent questions.
Right now I am in an art history class at West Valley as well as an archaeological field school over in Santa Cruz. The art history class is really good, except I didn't go today because I missed the bus and decided that since I was going to be late anyways I would just copy the notes from someone tomorrow. The field school is really fun, too, and next weekend will be much better because I will have sunscreen and the other people on site will know what is going on so we don't have to sit around listening to explanations as much.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince comes out in theaters Wednesday, but I am waiting until my stupid best friend gets back from stupid Washington D.C. in early August. I expect Bruno to be somewhere between decent and hilarious based on reviews, but knowing Harry Potter is showing in the next theater over will be difficult. Bleeeh nerd.
Oh and I burned myself with the nozzle of a hot glue gun, but it is okay because I have a Little Mermaid band-aid. Anyone have anything interesting going on? I know it is difficult to top Disney band-aids, but I haven't heard from a lot of you in a long time.
